![]() ![]() ![]() Imagine if you worked your rear off to make a living and then, suddenly, your "president" decides to start a war and the entire nation, including yourself, starts getting hated for it, your business is crewed because you can no longer take or make payments and you're in a dire situation. I understand that many people are quick to dehumanize others, especially when they live in a different country and speak a different language, when a select group there starts doing stupid crap, but "fvck them all and maybe the dictator will fall" isn't the right approach either. Lastly - it's highly debatable whether or not strangling ordinary people for the deeds of a sole despotic dictator is the right thing to do. This is business as usual in such countries that control the flow of information. Even the most well-meaning citizens are under strict information control in many ways, so even if they "willfully" voted for Putin - it's very likely because they are misinformed, or the other "choice" seems worse (again, due to the misinformation). Then you have to consider the propaganda factor. Pootin has effectively been in power for the last 25+ years - no "voting" necessary. If you knew anything about history or politics, you'd know that "voting" is not really a thing in Russia, nor any other communist/dictator states. What do you think? Are you excited for Atomic Heart?
